The Transformation Ball

The oldest city of Denmark, Ribe, is every year hosting a vibrant version of The Culture Night. In October 2021 I was invited to conduct a workshop, where all the Ribe citizens could help covering the light ball sculpture with their own tiny-sculptures. The ball is filled with beach waste collected by citizens in my own region, Sjællands Odde, covered with dusins of tiny sculptures of plastic waste collected by citizens in Odense. This way, jouint forces from across the country have co-created this compact little art bomb.
