BLUE EARTH

BLUE EARTH addresses our global climate crises threatening life on earth urgently. The sculpture consists of a five diameter circular steel construction covered with 3000 lights and 10.000 pieces/400 kg recycled blue plastic. For three months local citizens have sorted their blue recycling plastic in containers at four recycling stations, allocated to the project. 25 young volunteers from 15 countries and 4 continents have spend their summer co-creating the sculpture at artist Maj D's home in Odsherred, Denmark.

A circular project of tomorrow

BLUE EARTH is built to travel to any destination to spread environmental awareness in collaboration with partners all over the world, working for a better future for our planet.
