One Moon is a 3 diameters light sculpture, covered with LED lights and approximately 5000 objects of glass, feathers, plastic, ceramics and metal. It weighs approximately 500 kg and has taken in total 6 months to create with help from people from near and far.
One Moon was finished January 2026 just prior to its world premiere at the Roskilde Light Festival, Denmark.

Thousands of memories of lived life are hidden within the objects covering One Moon. Once discarded, they have now been reborn into a new life of light and beauty – showing a future way for hopefully many other discarded objects.

Like the Moon, only reflecting the light from the Sun, One Moon whispers that everything we see out there is essentially, a reflection of ourselves. Thereby, One Moon invites us to investigate our own actions with greater honesty, forgiveness, and responsibility.

One Moon is created in a way that takes both safety and amusement into consideration: More solid and toy like glass pieces are placed in the lower child level. Everywhere the feather balls protect the glass objects which are fastened securely to prevent them from movement and friction during transportation and exhibition.

One Moon symbolizes the element of air. It is the third artwork in a series of globes, following A Dozen Sun (2021) – fire, and Blue Earth (2022) – water.

The globes all address the intercoherent chain of global cathastrophes our over consumption causes every moment: Climate changes, rising sea levels, pollution, flooding and and lack of clean water and air. In particuar, the UN world goal 12 of Resposible Consumption and Production is adressed.
